Nurses Month Week 2

We dedicate the second week of Nurses Month to recognizing nurses past and present. This week includes activities, stories and tributes to commemorate all that nursing has done for health care.

FIVE DAYS OF STORIES

Since the beginning of 2020, we have collected stories and photos submitted by nurses, telling us about what inspires them, how they lead in the profession and what it is like to be on the front lines during a pandemic. Join us each day as we highlight a story that has touched our hearts.

CELEBRATING FLORENCE NIGHTINGALE

Revolutionary. Statistician. Agent of Change. Nurse Leader. Get to know the founder of modern medicine better through our interactive activities commemorating the accomplishments of Florence Nightingale. Think you know her already? Take our trivia quiz and find out! Visit Flo’s Corner.

ANCC 2021 NATIONAL AWARDS

Nurses deserve and, hopefully, get recognition 365 days out of the year. But this May 14, we celebrate, honor, and are inspired by the monumental achievements of ANCC National Awards winners and other nominees. Join us for this virtual event.

RETAILERS RECOGNIZE THE VALUE OF NURSING

Thank you to the various retailers and organizations that have pledged to support the American Nurses Foundation through proceeds from the sales of their products and services throughout Nurses Month.
